Graphite steels are high carbon hypereutectoid steels with free graphite. These rolls combine high strength with good wear resistance and high resistance to fire cracks This combination make them a suitable choice for deep grooved section mills.

They are normalized and stress relieved for better mechanical properties.

These rolls have no hardness drop.
