the inputs used for manufacturing rolls are the best available.

Absolute quality checks and testing of rolls during each stage of manufacturing is carried out whether the process is casting, machining or finishing.

The chemical analyses is frequently checked using an emission spectrometer and carbon analyzer to ensure conformity with the specifications.

The metallographic laboratory controls metallographic microstructure.

Microprocessor based equipment is installed for checking and testing of composition, hardness, surface roughness and dynamic balancing of rolls.

 The data generated is stored and analyzed regularly.

Hardness test and ultrasonic inspection is carried out to confirm hardness drop across the shell and overall material soundness.
